ABOUT THE PROJECT
Promoted by Fundação Nossa Senhora da Esperança, O Sentido de Cada Memória is designed to create an accessible cultural experience for people of all ages and abilities.
The project connects art, memory and technology, with particular attention to blind and visually impaired people, older generations, children and the local community.
A PROJECT IN TWO PHASES
THE GARDEN OF MEMORIES
The first phase will transform the historic Garden of Olive Trees into an inclusive sensory experience.
Its 37 olive trees will become part of an accessible cultural journey combining stories, sound, touch and technology. The intervention will also improve pathways, lighting, resting areas, orientation and accessibility throughout the garden.
THE MUSEUM OF TIFLOLOGY
The second phase will rehabilitate and expand the museum’s interior spaces.
The project includes a new permanent exhibition, an improved Braille Library and dedicated areas for conservation, documentation, research, education and cultural activities.
THE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY
